cnc CNC processing factory explains the use of CNC machine tools

From: Back to list
Careful selection of cutting amount
The three elements of CNC lathe machining cutting conditions: cutting speed, feed rate and cutting depth will directly cause tool damage. As the cutting speed advances, the tool tip temperature will rise, and mechanical, chemical, and physical related wear will occur. Cutting speed advances by 20%, tool life will be reduced by 1/2. The effect of feed rate on the wear of the tool is smaller than the cutting speed, but if the feed rate is large, the cutting temperature rises and the tool wear is large. Although the influence of cutting depth on the tool is not as large as the cutting speed and feed rate, when cutting at a small depth of cut, the hardened layer of the material being cut will also affect the life of the tool.

Pay attention to the choice of tools
1) When rough turning, choose a tool with high strength and good durability, in order to meet the requirements of large back eating amount and large feed during rough turning. 2) When finishing, choose a tool with high accuracy and good durability to ensure the accuracy of processing.
3) In order to reduce the time of tool change and facilitate tool setting, machine clamp knife and machine clamp blade should be selected as much as possible.

Careful selection of fixtures
1) Try to use a universal fixture to clamp the workpiece, to prevent the use of special fixtures;
2) The positioning standards of the parts are coincident to reduce positioning errors.

Pay attention to the confirmation of the processing route
The processing path is the movement track and direction of the tool relative to the part during the processing of the index controlled lathe.
1) It should be able to ensure the processing accuracy and surface roughness requirements;
2) The processing path should be shortened as much as possible to reduce the tool empty travel time.
